So it's been a while since I've done any sewing projects. The whole purpose of learning how in the first place was to make pony plushies for myself and others. Made a few for friends, but was never especially motivated to make them for myself, which is maybe strange, because that was supposed to be the point. But then just "because", I said I'd pick it up again to make another plush for another friend recently, and I seem to enjoy it more than I used to. In the intervening years I've learned more techniques in general for crafting, having spent a lot of time learning design stuff for...other things...that hopefully will be relevant in the future to plushies as well. We'll see. And after my last move I made a deliberate effort to build a workspace that's enjoyable to use. It seems to make a difference, and getting things done feels like less of a pain in the ass than it used to. Periodically I get asked about commissions by people if I share pictures of my work.
